Bronson Reed is this year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner.

The April 5 episode of WWE SmackDown featured the annual Andre The Giant Memorial battle royal with over 20 competitors. To kick things off, Omos tossed out Pretty Deadly’s Kit Wilson, which led to Elton Prince eliminating himself out of fear. Indus Sher then eliminated a few people before The Creed Brothers dumped them over the top rope at the same time.

After the commercial break, it was revealed that Omos was eliminated at the same time as The Creed Brothers when his own weight propelled him out of the ring with them. From there, the final six came down to Ivar, Bronson Reed, Otis, Akira Tozawa, Ricochet, and JD McDonagh.

Ivar and Reed ran at each other for a massive double crossbody. JD McDonagh yanked Ricochet off the apron, but then Tozawa tossed JD out right after. Otis made a comeback with offense on Ivar and Reed only for Ivar to clothesline Otis out. Ivar then launched Tozawa out onto Otis.

It came down to Reed and Ivar, who threw clotheslines at each other. They took turns showcasing big moves until Bronson Reed clotheslined Ivar over the top rope to win.

This year marked the tenth battle royal of its name as it was first introduced at WrestleMania 30 in 2014. Last year, Bobby Lashley won the bout on SmackDown.
