Charlotte Flair provides a brief injury update and discusses what her return could look like.

Charlotte Flair missed the road to WrestleMania 40, as she went down with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus on the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown. She has been working hard on her rehab ever since.

Speaking on a Fanatics Live stream, Charlotte Flair commented on her progress with her recovery. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling)

“Knee feels good. Walking. Actually, I saw my doctor this morning on the elevator, like who actually performed the surgery,” Charlotte Flair said. “He was like, ‘Actually, the heels are okay because of the elevation’ and I was like, ‘See, I told all you guys that were like, why are you in heels?’

Charlotte Flair On Her Return

Charlotte Flair also discussed her looming return to WWE and noted that she was not sure whether she wanted to be a babyface or a heel. Either way, she emphasized that she was very motivated to make it back.

“I just can’t decide, when I go back, if I really wanna give this good guy role a legitimate chance because I’m really overcoming something that I never have experienced,” Charlotte Flair said. “Or do I come back and just go full-blown bad again? Or can I just change every week back and forth?… Kind of like I do now (she laughed). I just wanna come back with a new skill set.

“I’m just super motivated right now. You never know what you have until it’s gone… I have (been an Ironwoman). No, but I left after the I Quit match with Ronda (Rousey). I was out, but then it just got extended and they just brought me back later. But, this will be the longest time since July 2012.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Charlotte Flair will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
