A dog collar match between MJF and CM Punk is set for AEW Revolution.

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite opened with Punk discussing how MJF constantly references Roddy Piper, and since he wants to bePiper, why not do one of his more famous matches. He brought out the dog collar and challenged MJF to the match for Revolution on March 6. MJF came out to respond, but had no words and simply left as the segment ended. It was confirmed later in the night that Tony Khan had signed the match.

Following the events of Full Gear, MJF and CM Punk have exchanged words, with Punk going through much of MJF’s Pinnacle stable to get to MJF. The two finally had a match in Chicago on February 2, with MJF getting the win after a distraction from Wardlow.

On last week’s Dynamite, MJF said he would agree to a rematch if Punk could find a friend that wasn’t Darby Allin or Sting and defeat FTR in a match. Punk ended up teaming with Jon Moxley and was victorious, setting up the rematch.

Already announced for Revolution is a face of the Revolution ladder match that involves Keith Lee, Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Dante Martin.
