Cody Rhodes regrets one of the things he said to The Rock.

The American Nightmare teamed with Seth Rollins to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania 40. Most of the build up to the show focused on Cody and The Rock. The pair traded barbs over a number of weeks, in some of the best segments in years.

This made fans excited for the eventual clash, which saw The Rock pin Rhodes. It also created memorable moments, like The People’s Champion beating him bloody outside in the rain.

However, Cody Rhodes had one of the best lines of the feud during an in-ring promo. On the March 18th episode of Monday Night Raw, Cody cut a promo on The Rock, where he accused the former WWE Champion as having “Little Dick Syndrome.”

“What happens, Rock, when the bell rings? Are you going to bring The Great One? Or you going to be the hero I had growing up? Are you going to have all that Big Dwayne Energy? Or is it just going to be LDS, little dick syndrome?!”

Cody Rhodes Regretted Saying The Line On Monday Night Raw

While this was one of the most memorable lines of the rivalry, it is one that the American Nightmare regrets.

Cody Rhodes spoke about the promo during a recent appearance on the SI Media podcast (via F4WOnline). He revealed that he felt guilty about the line, as he didn’t want young fans to ask their parents what he meant by that.

“Fans in the arena loved it. There was a huge joy to this interview I did. However, for me, I felt a little guilty because I have a lot of young, young, young fans and I would never want them to ask their mom about ‘LDS’ or this or that.”

“My run with WWE has been really for the family audience, and really for the little nightmares, these little kiddos. I just wouldn’t want to lead them astray in any way and hopefully, that interview didn’t turn them off to me, if I am their guy, as their guy. Everyone after was so pumped about it, my wife was digging it, and I remember thinking I felt a little guilty.”
