Davey Richards believes a potential match between The Wolves and FTR is closer to happening than you might think.

During a recent interview with WrestleZone, Davey Richards spoke about recently reuniting with Eddie Edwards as The American Wolves. The pair have teamed in seven matches this year, including a recent bout for Prestige Wrestling against Violence Is Forever. Richards spoke about how great the dynamic has been with Edwards, noting that they had some great opponents to complement them.

“Yeah, since I’ve come back, they’ve put me and Eddie back together a few times, and… I’m gonna be arrogant. When me and Eddie are on, no one can touch us because our timing has just always been there. I felt like last Sunday,” Richards explained, “it just clicked again like, ‘Dude, we’re back.’ So now we’re getting matching gear again, we’re doing this, like The Wolves are back again. So yeah, it’s cool. It was a great match. And credit to Violence is Forever, they’re awesome.”

Richards was also asked about potentially facing off with FTR in the near future. The teams did face off once before at an All-Star Wrestling event, but Richards teased that it could happen again in the new year.

“Yes, they are [on a great run]. Honestly, how it happens is… boy, how do I [put it]? In 2023, we could potentially all be in the same place to do that,” Richards stated. “The really cool thing about wrestling now is that the fans can be heard through social media so if they wanted, and they voice their opinion on it, I know there’s four guys who definitely want it.”
