The Chairman of All Elite Wrestling was none other than The Perfect 10, Shawn Spears. After wrestling in the Jacksonville-based promotion, he recently announced that he was parting ways with the company. Lots of stars sent some positive messages to Spears. One of them was former AEW and WWE World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood.

The Chairman took to Twitter to share a thank you message for Tony Khan and AEW. Spears thanked all the staff and the talents. The former WWE Superstar will officially be a free agent starting January 1, 2024.

“What a wonderful time it has been. Thank you @AEW for allowing me to be there from the ground level. It’s been a fantastic 5 years of growth and personal development. This is a personal choice and one that is best for me and my family at this time. Thank you to all, staff and talent alike for the memories

#10,” Shawn Spears tweeted.

Spears also thanked the fans for their constant support. He mentioned that he loves his fans.

“Most importantly, to the incredible fans of ALL professional wrestling: I love you guys. I really do,” Shawn Spears tweeted

Following his tweet, former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood replied to Spears claiming that the Chairman was a great teacher and is the most underrated wrestler in the entire business.

“I would say, probably the most underrated wrestler I’ve ever been in the ring with. Great teacher of our business and an even better human being,” Dax Harwood tweeted.
