Dirty Dango is happy to have Oleg Prudius in his corner.

WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard spoke with Dirty Dango about Oleg Prudius’ return to the pro wrestling scene. Prudius, aka WWE’s Vladimir Kozlov, currently works in TNA as part of Dango’s entourage. Dango said Prudius is in great shape, and it doesn’t look like he’s missed a beat.

“He looks better aesthetically now, I think, than he did back in WWE. He’s in great shape,” Dango said. “I hope I look that good in a couple of years. He looks great. He’s jacked.”

Prudius hasn’t wrestled full time in more than a decade, but he’s teamed with Dango three times in TNA so far.

“I was worried about his first match in like 11 years, which was [on the November 9, 2023 episode of IMPACT Wrestling]. And I feel like all the stunt work he’s done over the last 10 or 12 years, is very similar to wrestling, where you’re remembering spots and you’re going through through the motions. So his match was great, and he didn’t forget anything. He went right out there and nailed it first take. He picked right up where he left off for sure.”

‘Is that Oleg?’

Oleg Prudius has been building his resume in Hollywood, including roles in John Wick 2 and HBO’s The Wire. Dango said John Wick 2 or China’s Wolf Warriors 2 is his favorite of Oleg’s films, but it’s fun to see where he pops up.

“You’ll just be watching a movie, and then I feel like Oleg just kind of pops up in it here and there just randomly. Then you rewind it [and ask] ‘Is that Oleg?” He just gets shot or he hip thrusts someone and he gets thrown off a bridge or something. But yeah, he made a good career outside of wrestling kind of when he left WWE,” Dango said. “He’s done a lot of acting.”
