This past Friday night on WWE SmackDown, the rivalry between Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio continued. While some may have believed that it was going to be the culmination, the way the match came to an end says otherwise. Former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio showed up to help the leader of Legado Del Fantasma.

The stipulation for the match between Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar was that no member of their respective factions should interfere in the match. This guaranteed a fair fight between the two stars. Or so it seemed. As the Master of the 619 was at the edge of picking up the win, his son ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio showed up and cost his father the match.

Following the match, Byron Saxton caught up with Escobar and Dirty Dom to address their actions. Escobar claimed that he followed the rules as Mysterio wasn’t part of either LWO or LDF.

“I am going to stop you right there Byron [Saxton] before you assault us again. The stipulation was no LDF [Legado Del Gantasma] and no LWO [Latino World Order]. Last time I checked, Dirty Dom is Judgment Day. He’s not Legado Del Fantasma, he’s not LWO. But the one thing we have in common is that we both hate Rey Mysterio. Assistance? You [Dominik Mysterio] want to address this assault?” Santos Escobar said.

Dominik Mysterio also claimed that all that matters is the win and that Judgment Day rules WWE.

“Want me to answer this for you? First of all Byron, a win’s a win. It doesn’t matter how it comes. A win is a win. And the Judgment Day runs all. Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, it doesn’t matter. So like I said, a win is a win,” Dominik Mysterio said.
