Dustin Rhodes is set for action on the Friday, March 29 edition of AEW Rampage.

Rhodes will face The Butcher on Friday's Rampage in a match set up with a backstage interaction between the two on Wednesday's Dynamite.

Butcher interrupted an interview segment with Rhodes & Renee Paquette, bringing up a Bunkhouse match that the two had years ago, before issuing a challenge for Rampage. Rhodes accepted, noting that he would not be a stepping stone for anyone at this point in his career.

Rhodes & QT Marshall faced The Butcher & The Blade in a tag team Bunkhouse match on the November 11, 2020 Dynamite, a bout won by Rhodes & Marshall.

Rhodes is 3-1 in AEW competition in 2024, with his only loss coming in a TNT tite match against Christian Cage on the January 17 Dynamite.

Rampage returns to its normal Friday, 10 p.m. Eastern time slot on TNT this week after airing live on TBS following Dynamite last week.
