A top star always makes his entrance to the squared circle after his theme song kicks off with this phrase ‘Wrestling has more than one royal family.’ That is none other than Cody Rhodes.

People might claim that it is a phrase only to praise The American Nightmare’s family and legacy. But it is in fact just to constantly remind people that several families have helped build the professional wrestling business. There are a handful of wrestling families. The Rhodes’, The Harts, The McMahons, and many more. Another famous wrestling family is The Von Erichs family. Soon the Von Erichs and a member of the Rhodes family are going to team up. It will be Marshall and Ross Von Erich tagging with Dustin Rhodes.

This Friday Night on a special edition of AEW Rampage, Dustin Rhodes will be teaming up with the Von Erichs for the first time. They will be taking on the team of a bunch of wrestlers who will be making their AEW debut.

Ahead of the match, Dustin Rhodes took to Twitter to share a short story about how his father Dusty Rhodes, and Kevin Von Erich had teamed up once back in 1978. After nearly 45 years, the Von Erichs and Rhodes family will unite.

“A little history lesson for you. Our own @alexmarvez told me last night that their dad Kevin tagged 1 and only 1 time with my pops back in 1978. So you can imagine how special this meant to me. #VonErichsAndRhodes #TexasBoys whooping tail!! Trios anybody? Thanks @TonyKhan
for making this happen. Historical and honored. #keepsteppin and see you tomorrow night on #AEWRampage baby!!!??#hookem,” Dustin Rhodes tweeted.

Are you excited to see The Natural team up with The Von Erichs?
