Eva Marie opens up about her last WWE run.

In a new video uploaded to her YouTube channel, Eva Marie looked back at some of her biggest moments from her two runs in WWE. When reviewing footage of her SummerSlam 2021 match against Alexa Bliss, Marie revealed that she wasn’t supposed to wrestle as much as she did.

“So basically what it really was, what it was supposed to be — giving you a little insight — is I really wasn’t supposed to wrestle as much as I wrestled. Obviously, performing at SummerSlam, it’s a live pay-per-view, but you’re in front of like 100,000 people. It doesn’t get much better than that,” Marie said. “I’m not gonna lie, I was shocked that I had a SummerSlam match because I had just come back and wasn’t supposed to wrestle. So that was definitely kind of crazy.”

Marie recently spoke to WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard and claimed that the door was always open for a return to WWE.

“Of course. That door is always open. I mean, we’re in constant talks. When I had originally left, I was filming my first lead action movie,” she explained, “so that door is definitely one of those things that is always open. I’m definitely down to always cause some trouble and stir up some things, that’s for sure.”
