Not everyone will continue to wrestle once they leave WWE, as some will retire and go into a different profession, while others will stay in the wrestling business by making the transition into various roles, whether that be as an announcer, producer, manager, or trainer.

Chris Hero found success in ROH before going to WWE with his stint from 2011-2013. He returned in 2016 for his second run, where he was used in NXT in addition to working for the NXT UK brand before being released in April 2020 due to budget cuts.

He hasn't wrestled since. Earlier this year, Hero started working as a full-time producer.

Hero made an appearance on Saturday night for West Coast Pro Wrestling, where he made the save after Timothy Thatcher continued to attack JT Thorne after their match.

Hero told Thatcher that if he wanted to take advantage of someone, then he would be his guy. He challenged him to a match at the November 17th West Coast Pro Whiplash event and would get the matchmaker version of himself. Instead, he would get the knockout artist.
