Not all wrestlers will become main eventers as the majority won’t even have the chance to work for a big promotion like WWE, AEW, or NJPW. Most are lucky if they can wrestle full-time and support themselves solely from their passion for the industry.

The star

Spike Dudley made it to the big time and was part of some of the biggest promotions in the history of the business. Dudley broke into the business in 1993 before going to ECW, where he was a member of The Dudley Boyz.

After being split up from the legendary tag team and them leaving for WWE in 1993, Spike was with ECW until the dying days of the promotion. He later joined WWE, being reunited with D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley.

While with WWE until 2005, he also found success as a singles star by holding the European, Hardcore, and Cruiserweight Titles. He had runs in TNA from 2006-2007 and 2009-2014. His last match was in 2015.

The return

Over the weekend, the former WWE/ECW star made his return to in-ring action by wrestling at a LIVE Pro Wrestling event in New Bedford, MA, against Leon St Giovanni.
