Former WWE star Chris Masters is hoping for a shot with a national wrestling company.

Most fans were introduced to Masters when he debuted on WWE TV in 2005 and he was immediately given a big push. At the time, the feeling was that he could be a big star but many would agree that he was too green and perhaps, he was given too much too soon. He was released in 2007 and returned in 2009 and was released again in 2011. He went on to work for several independent promotions and later worked for TNA and the NWA. During his years away from WWE, he's worked on his character and he's improved his in-ring work.

Now at 40 years old, he's looking to get another shot with a major promotion. As seen in the video below, Masters says that he would love to see what's out there in TNA, AEW or WWE. There are several over 40 wrestlers signed and wrestling at a high level so it's definitely possible that one of the big companies may reach out to him.
