A new photo has surfaced online of NFL Hall Of Famer/former WCW star Steve "Mongo" McMichael and it's heartbreaking to see.

As previously reported, McMichael was diagnosed with ALS a couple of years ago and his health has continued to deteriorate. McMichael's sister said last year that her brother no longer can use his arms or legs.

As seen in the photo below (via Twitter/MarksWrestling1), McMichael appears to be confined to his bed but appears to be in good spirits under the circumstances.

McMichael continues to show that he's a fighter and, according to Ric Flair, he doesn't plan on letting the disease stop him from traveling. Flair recently noted on his podcast that accommodations will be made for McMichael to transport him to Nashville so he can be in attendance for Flair's last match.

We send our best wishes to McMichael and his family.
