Gail Kim reveals that she came out of IMPACT 1000 a little banged up.

TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim returned to the ring at IMPACT 1000 on September 9. There, she teamed up with Trinity, Jordynne Grace, Mickie James, and Awesome Kong to face Deonna Purrazzp, Tasha Steelz, Gisele Shaw, and Savannah Evans, and Angelina Love.

During the bout, Kim took a nasty bump after Velvet Sky pulled her off the ring apron. Kim later said she got rattled, but she was okay.

On September 21, Kim took to Instagram and shared her thoughts on the situation. She emphasized that she posted the clip to show that wrestling is high-risk, and it’s important to follow up with injuries.

Gail Kim also made it clear that she will not condone any attacking behavior towards Velvet Sky or anyone else. She stated that wrestling comes with risk, and things happen. Kim wrote that it wasn’t her first concussion, and it may not be her last. She also shared a clip in which she got checked out by doctors.

It is not known whether Gail Kim will return to the ring or how long she may be sidelined. WrestleZone wishes Kim well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
