WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER will be defending the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series in Chicago. He will be facing The Miz at the PLE. In an exclusive for WrestlingNews.co, Steve Fall has the opportunity to talk about the match at the PLE, the current WWE product and why things are clicking right now, Bash in Berlin, the rumored PLE in Paris, France, his recent comments about The Ultimate Warrior, and a lot more. The entire video interview can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Gunther praises WWE's current product

Gunther praised WWE for providing the "best form of entertainment around" because there's something for everyone with the "characters, action and physicality." He added, "I think everybody should be pretty much aware that we're in a golden era in the business right now."

Gunther continued, "If you've never seen WWE before, or you haven't visited a Premium Live Event, if you still can watch Survivor Series, that's going to be a good example of why what we do is the best form of entertainment out there."

WWE Bash in Berlin

Gunther noted that over 10,000 tickets have been sold in Berlin and a decade ago it seemed unrealistic to see a PLE there but it's happening. He also said that in regards to the rumors about Paris hosting a PLE event, he hopes it happens because there's a huge pro wrestling history there.

Gunther's fantasy Survivor Series team

Gunther was asked to name his fantasy Survivor Series team with himself as the caption. If he had to leave out Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, he said that he would choose Timothy Thatcher, Zack Sabre Jr., Billy Robinson, and Kenta Kobashi.

Gunther doubles down on his comments about The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior is one of the most popular Intercontinental Champions in WWE history but he was never praised for his in-ring work. Instead, he got over because of his gimmick and how hard he was pushed by the company. During the interview, Gunther doubled down on Warrior being a showman and said that someone at work thought his comments on The Bump from earlier this week were funny. He said, "Somebody at work came up to me and went like, 'That was funny.' It's like, Did you mean that? Yeah, of course, I mean it."
