Heath is having fun in IMPACT Wrestling, and he’s set to remain with the company for at least another year.

The man once known as Heath Slater debuted at IMPACT Slammiversary 2020. As part of a storyline, he subsequently rallied for a contract with the company, and he eventually earned one. Since then, he has been featured on IMPACT programming, and he has become a prominent babyface through his feud with Honor No More. At the Bound For Glory pay-per-view, he came up short in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet, but he reunited with Rhino.

In an interview with Miami Herald’s Jimmy Varsallone, Heath described how he enjoys IMPACT’s fun atmosphere, and he particularly enjoys the way the company listens to the talent’s ideas. He then stated that he has a year left on his contract, and he’s looking forward to the next chapter of his run with the company.

“The whole atmosphere at IMPACT is fun and loose, to where you don’t have to really walk around on glass and eggshells. You can literally breathe, relax, have a good time, crack up. But I like the fact, at IMPACT, they listen to your ideas. You can be you, you can express yourself, you can have fun doing that.

“That’s the main part I love about IMPACT is that they get behind you and your ideas. I feel like the best is still to come because I’ve still got a year on my contract with IMPACT, so I just feel like I’ve just begun right now. There’s still a lot for me and for me to do. So I’m excited more about this coming up year than I have been this last year.”
