HOOK has rejected Chris Jericho.

In recent weeks, Chris Jericho has taken FTW Champion HOOK under his wing, hoping to help him reach the next level. However, they have not been on the same page, and an argument between the duo cost them a trios match on the April 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

On the April 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and HOOK came to the ring for a meeting that was mediated by Taz.  Jericho said HOOK was not listening to him as much as he thought he should, and he called himself the Learning Tree. He said that everyone who had been through the Jericho Vortex came out better on the other side.

HOOK turned Jericho down and said he didn’t need his help. Jericho told Tax he was doing what he should have done by giving him proper guidance. Tensions rose between Jericho and Taz. Jericho shoved Taz. HOOK confronted him and told him he would show him how good he was.
