Hornswoggle is very proud of the WeeLC match he had in WWE back in 2014.

Former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle was a recent guest on The Ten Count with Steve Fall to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about his WeeLC match with El Torito at Extreme Rules 2014, Hornswoggle said the match was supposed to be presented as a joke, but he and Torito had other plans.

“It was supposed to be presented, I believe, as a joke and as a comedy thing, but we had the best match on the card that night, including Evolution versus Shield in a street fight,” Hornswoggle said. “And I was like, we killed it, and I know we did. And I’m going to tell everyone we did. And that might not have been a good move on my end, but I don’t care at that point.

“They all had the mindset of — all the 3MB guys and I and Matadores and Torito all had the mindset and everyone helping us agenting and producing the match had the mindset of shove up their ass. If we’re gonna be honest, shove it up their ass. They want this to be a haha comedy thing. Go out there and kill it. And it was the greatest thing I’ll ever do in my career. I’ll never do anything better.”

When asked if he had a “follow that” attitude when he returned backstage following the match, Hornswoggle admitted that he did but didn’t say it out loud, stating that both Vince McMahon and Triple H gave him a standing ovation in gorilla and that’s all he needed.

“I knew it, and other members of the roster that are my friends knew it. And that’s all I needed,” Hornswoggle said. “That was the first time I ever got a standing ovation in gorilla, including Vince and Triple H, so that was a pretty cool thing. And that’s all I needed. I didn’t need to give you the double birds when I walked through the locker room.”
