An International title eliminator match is set for Battle of the Belts X.

During a promo on Collision, Romero says he’s won titles in Mexico and Japan and now he wants a title in AEW. He said he knows that he can’t just walk up and get a title shot due to AEW’s rankings, so he is challenging Roderick Strong to an International title eliminator match. Strong then appeared and said although he thinks Romero has about a one percent chance of beating him, he will accept his challenge.

The match was later made official for Battle of the Belts X. That will air immediately after next week’s Collision at 10 pm ET.

Battle of the Belts IX was held back on January 13. That card had Ricky Starks & Big Bill defeating Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara in a street fight to retain the AEW Tag Team titles, Julia Hart successfully defending the TBS title against Anna Jay, and Orange Cassidy defeating Preston Vance to retain the International title.

Here is the lineup so far for Battle of the Belts X:

  • AEW International Championship eliminator match: Roderick Strong vs. Rocky Romero
