WWE Hall of Famer Jesse “The Body” Ventura has recently opened up the lines of communication with the company again.

Jesse Ventura hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since 2009, but thanks to the company’s new management, that could change in the future.

Ventura was a recent guest on The Vanguard. During the discussion, the former Governor of Minnesota teased that he’s been speaking with WWE again thanks to the company’s “new direction,” clearly implying it has to do with Vince McMahon‘s departure.

“I will tell you this: now that wrestling has chosen this new direction, shall we call it, Jesse Ventura is in talks with them,” Ventura teased. “But again, it required them going in this new direction. I hope you get what I’m saying about the new direction. The direction the company is now going was good enough for Jesse Ventura and the WWE to begin talking again.”
