On the latest "Grilling JR" podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross praised the work Nigel McGuinness has been doing at AEW Collision and he said that he's heard that Nigel wants to have one more match at some point.

It was rumored that Nigel McGuinness vs. Bryan Danielson was being discussed for AEW ALL IN 2023 but those plans were scrapped because of Danielson getting injured.

"I enjoy working with Kevin Kelly and Nigel," Ross said. "Nigel's getting really good. Not that Kevin isn't but Nigel is kind of a newcomer in that world and he's doing a great job. I enjoy working with him. He's fun, he's a good guy. I know he wants to have one more match somewhere down the road and I hope he gets it. I saw online the other day Connie, where Bryan Danielson said he and Nigel would be a hell of a match at Wembley (ALL IN)."

Conrad Thompson said he'd love to see that match and it would be a great story for Nigel, especially on a big stage.

For those of you who watch Collision every week, it's pretty clear that Nigel is setting the stage for a match with Danielson or he is at least hoping it will happen because he's been ripping on Danielson on commentary for months.

Last Summer at the AEW Double Or Nothing pres conference (see below), Danielson seemed to be planting the seeds for that match when he said that Nigel couldn't keep up and he'd break his neck.
