Jimmy Jacobs is returning to the ring.

Ring of Honor announced that Jimmy Jacob will face Shane Taylor on the September 28 episode of ROH TV. The bout, which was taped on September 23, marks Jacobs’ first match in ROH since 2015.

Jacobs debuted back in 1999, and he previously had a successful run in ROH. He is a former five-time ROH World Tag Team Champion. He has also wrestled for PWG, IWA Mid South, and various other promotions. Jacobs was inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2023. He signed with AEW in June 2023 and joined the company as a producer.

Jacobs previously had a noteworthy run in IMPACT Wrestling; he was an on-screen talent, a producer, and a member of the creative team. He also worked for WWE; he joined the creative team in March 2015, but he was released in October 17.
