John Cena is hopeful that he will be able to pump the brakes on his Hollywood career for one final run in WWE.

John Cena had been absent from WWE since November 2023, but he made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40 Night Two as he got involved in Cody Rhodes’ match against Roman Reigns.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, John Cena discussed his schedule and noted that he would be busy filming through Christmas. He then stated that he hoped to be able to return for one last run.

“I was grateful enough that Honda kind of bumped a commitment I had to be able to do WrestleMania,” John Cena said. “I have some more branding stuff to do before j leave for Europe to finish a movie that we started filming before the strike called ‘Heads of State’. Then straight form that to ‘Peacemaker’ season two.

“That’ll take us through just about Christmas, and I’m crossing my fingers and toes and my heart that maybe, maybe, just maybe, I can tell the Hollywood to pump the brakes for a while and come back to my family for one last run. I hope, I don’t know, I hope, I’m trying, I hope. We’ll see what happens.”

Cena then replied to a clip of his comments and said he promised to do his best and “walk the talk to set the stage for #OneLastTime.”

Cena has said that he has drawn a line in the sand regarding his retirement from the ring. Check out his comments here.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
