If you were watching tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling closely, you might have noticed former WWE Superstar John Morrison on tonight’s show.

Morrison appeared in the background of a segment between Tommy Dreamer and Steve Maclin but wasn’t acknowledged by anyone in the segment or by the commentary team.

Morrison wrestled for IMPACT Wrestling as Johnny IMPACT from 2017 to 2019 and is a former IMPACT World Champion. He hasn’t been seen on weekly IMPACT programming since July of 2019.

While his reasons for appearing are currently unknown, he was likely there with his wife, Taya Valkyrie, who is currently one-half of the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.

Valkyrie acknowledged her husband’s appearance tonight on social media. You can check that out in the embedded tweet below.

What do you make of John Morrison’s surprise appearance on IMPACT Wrestling tonight? Do you think this was an accident or the beginning of something bigger? Let us know your thoughts by sounding off in the comments section below.
