Justin Credible looks back on his time in X-Factor and using an Uncle Kracker track as their theme song.

While their WWE run was brief, the trio of Albert, Justin Credible, X-Pac, collectively known as X-Pac, can widely be remembered for their theme song, which was voiced by Uncle Kracker. During a recent interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo, Credible reflected on his time working alongside Albert and X-Pac. He also looked back on their entrance theme — “What ‘Chu Lookin’ At” by Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock’s former turntablist.

“I did enjoy X-Factor a lot. Because I loved X-Pac and I loved the fact that we got to work again. Again, you got to remember that they were so stacked in the WWF at this time. They were so stacked, it was going to be hard for me to make it as a singles so I figured but me and ‘Pac as a tag team, they had the Dudleys, Edge and Christian, the Hardys, we could have a good run as a tag team. So, I though it was a great idea for us to differentiate,” Credible said.

The Uncle Kracker Connection

“As a matter of fact, the reason I picked Uncle Kracker, or I submitted it to the office, was I was friends with Joe C from Kid Rock, and Uncle Cracker was their DJ. They were all wrestling fans and Uncle Kracker’s brother became my agent. He was coming out with his solo record. He’s like, ‘Use one of my songs.; I wanted something cool, something different, something that was going to get a little bit of heat, Everybody still talk sh** about that Uncle Kracker song. It was just so different, I loved it.”

The X-Factor trio joined forces in early 2001. They faced other WWE teams such as The Dudley Boyz, The APA, and The Hardy Boyz. The group eventually disbanded over the summer when Credible aligned himself with Paul Heyman’s band of ECW alumni during The Invasion angle.
