WWE Hall of Famers Lita and Trish Stratus tease returning and coming after the gold.

Lita and Trish Stratus both returned to WWE in 2023. Lita and Becky Lynch won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in February, and Stratus joined forces with the duo. They faced Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39, but Stratus later turned on them and feuded with Lynch for the next several months. Stratus last appeared at WWE Payback, where Lynch beat her in a Steel Cage match.

During a Q&A at For The Love of Wrestling (via Monopoly Events), Lita and Trish Stratus were asked about potentially having one last title run. Lita teased that they could conquer the “curse” surrounding the women’s tag team titles. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription.)

“We have touched on that. It’s a great question,” Lita said. “I feel like that should be the last question but, only because it’s awesome. But, people like to talk about this imaginary curse of the (WWE Women’s) Tag Titles but I think that if Trish and I were Tag Champs that somehow the curse would magically disappear.

Stratus added, “What do you guys think of that?… (Our message to The Kabuki Warriors is) You’re not ready for Team Bestie.”

Stratus recently teased returning to WWE in 2024. Click here to see what she had to say about potentially facing Lita.
