The self-proclaimed Best in the World, CM Punk has been one of the most popular stars in professional wrestling. He has been a trending topic in two promotions in recent weeks. They are both AEW and WWE. Currently, the Second City Saint has been sidelined due to a tricep injury. One of his former faction members, Luke Gallows opened up about his thoughts on the former AEW World Champion.

While speaking on the latest episode of the Talk’n Shop podcast, the former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion mentioned that CM Punk is a name in the wrestling world that guarantees a reaction from the fans.

“Talk about headlines all week. Here’s the thing about CM Punk in WWE. No matter what your personal feelings are, from a fan perspective, a performer perspective, a wrestler perspective, a friend perspective, and ex-friend perspective, the one thing you can’t deny about the dude is that if you say his name and put him on a screen anywhere in the world, everybody is talking about him. He elicits a reaction.” said Luke Gallows. [H/T Fightful.com]

Luke Gallows also claimed that in the wrestling world, the Second City Saint and The People’s Champion, The Rock are similar in so many ways.

“He’s a polarizing character. That’s what this whole business is based on, being a polarizing character. I don’t think anybody has ever drawn the comparison before, but in a lot of weird ways, if you look at just the pure pro wrestling aspect of it, there are some strange similarities between Dwayne Johnson and Phil Brooks.”

What are your thoughts on the comments made by Luke Gallows?
