Lyra Valkyria has high aspirations for her main roster run.

On night two of the 2024 WWE Draft, former NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria received her official call-up to WWE’s main roster, specifically for the Raw brand. Following this move, WWE wasted little time to showcase Valkyria on Raw, as she opposed Dakota Kai (replacing an injured Asuka) in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Despite a valiant effort from Kai, it was Valkyria who emerged victorious.

Looking ahead, Valkyria is now positioned to face Zoey Stark in the quarterfinals. Beyond that, though, Valkyria is aiming to square off with even more main roster names.

“The women’s division is thriving across the board,” Valkyria told TV Insider. “To see Becky [Lynch], Bayley, and Charlotte Flair. Any of those women I would absolutely die for an opportunity at any of them.”

Becky Lynch, of course, currently leads the Raw women’s division as the WWE Women’s World Champion. Last year, though, Lynch earned a brief reign as the WWE NXT Women’s Champion Champion – a reign that was ultimately ended by Lyra Valkyria.

While Valkyria carries forth history with Lynch, she has yet to face off with Bayley and Charlotte Flair. imilar to Lynch, Bayley currently serves as the leader of the SmackDown women’s division, as she holds the WWE Women’s Champion. Flair, unforuntely, remains sidelined with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
