Many would argue that one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world is All Elite Wrestling. Considering the fact that the company began less than half a decade ago it is a huge achievement. But of course, there are some issues within the company. One of the backstage interviewers of AEW and WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry shared his thoughts on the Jacksonville-based promotion.

All Elite Wrestling began in 2019. It recently celebrated its four-year anniversary. The promotion led by Tony Khan, has been doing some great things, to be honest. In such a short time, they have been able to host international shows and have seen a lot of success. But at the same time, they have been facing a few problems. Issues within the locker room, such as problems with top talents such as CM Punk, and many more. Fans have also constantly been criticizing the promotion’s booking.

Henry was recently a guest on the A to Z podcast. The World’s Strongest Man addressed all the aforementioned issues and the success of the promotion.

“I think AEW being younger, they have missed the boat on some things, but they’ve had way more success than failure. I mean way more — like Darby Allin is one of my favorite wrestlers in the world, they doing the right thing with bringing Nick Wayne in and letting him develop over a period of time, the Women’s Division is starting to you know, really push again. They had a big push a year-and-a-half ago and now it’s starting to bubble again because everybody’s healthy, thank god. Just watching the development of the new shows, watching ROH come back to life, and ‘Collision’ being added,” Mark Henry said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]
