Matt Cardona has two major matches coming up.

“The Major Player” will face Colt Cabana at the Premier Wrestling Network Wrestling Showcase on September 9, and the winner will be crowned the inaugural Premier Men’s Champion. The news was first announced on Busted Open Radio by PSN co-owner Freddie Prinze Jr.

Cardona won the inaugural Wrestling Showcase in 2022, and “The Indie God” will aim to add another to his collection when he faces Cabana.

Additionally, Cardona will face Breeze, formerly known as Tyler Breeze , at Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland 6 event on September 1. Breeze returned to the ring and wrestled Matt Cross at NGW Wrestle Wars on July 8. His match with Cardona will be his second bout since his WWE release in June 2021.

Breeze and Cardona have worked together in tag team matches since then, but the contest will mark their first singles match since Cardona, then known as Zack Ryder, beat Breeze on the October 18, 2016, episode of WWE Main Event.

A recent reported noted that Breeze is under contract with WWE. More information is available here.
