Though she's about to debut for AEW, Mercedes Mone believes she'll be back in WWE one day.

"I know I'm going to be back there [WWE] one day, ok," the former Sasha Banks said while being interviewed on the Kick Rocks wrestling podcast. "So it's not over. Like I said, I have a lot of unfinished business in wrestling in a lot of places."

Mone's line about knowing she'll be back in WWE one day was edited out of the full version of the podcast, but it was included in a clip uploaded to YouTube:

This was part of the answer Mone gave explaining why she walked out of WWE. Mone left WWE after walking out of an episode of Raw in May 2022. Mone said something inside of her told her that she needed to stand up for herself. Though walking out was the hardest decision Mone has ever made, it's also the decision that she's most proud of.

Mone said she now gets to be everything she has ever dreamed of being. She's thankful for the career WWE gave her, the fans they gave her, and the life that they gave her.

Mone is expected to debut for AEW on Dynamite next Wednesday (March 13). The show, which is taking place in Boston, is named "Big Business" and is being built around Mone's arrival.

After walking out of WWE, Mone returned to pro wrestling for NJPW and Stardom last year. Her next match will be the first time she's wrestled since May 2023. She's been out of action since then due to an ankle injury.

Mone hyped on Kick Rocks that she's been making some "Big Business" moves. Mone said she thinks she's finally found a new home in pro wrestling.
