Michelle McCool discusses a potential WWE return.

The former WWE Women’s and Divas Champion has only made four in-ring appearances since retiring in 2011. Those matches include three Royal Rumbles and a cameo in the Evolution 2018 battle royal.

During a recent appearance on Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, McCool opened up about how different the talent roster is now compared to when she was active in the late 2000s.

“I mean, it’s night and day I think,” McCool said. “Not so much wrestling today, but I wish we had those opportunities when I was there. We had some good talent. I had some great matches with several different girls. There are some girls today that I would kill to be in the ring with obviously. Charlotte, Bianca, Naomi. Like all these girls I’ve been in the ring with now coming back for the Rumbles, I would’ve killed to have even a 10-minute match, much less these 30-minute matches that they’re having that are killer.”

The Undertaker then chimed in and said that his wife could hang with today’s talent, possibly even excel because the athletic talent today would help showcase what the former Divas Champion can do. He then mentioned that a lot of fans want to see Michelle McCool vs. Charlotte Flair.

McCool responded, “Yeah, that has been a thing for a while, which would be amazing. I would love to.”

Regarding a potential WWE return to work with a modern star, McCool said, “Yeah, I would do that. When I go back — and seriously, not just the ones I mention, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss — like everybody’s so easy to work with, it’s insane.

Undertaker joked that McCool going back on the road would mean their kids would be miserable if left at home with him.
