The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship had been switched hands a lot. The current champions are Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Recently, Falon Henley asked Mickie James to team up with her to dethrone Green and Niven.

After her match on NXT Deadline, Fallon Henley took to Twitter asking the former WWE Women’s Champion for an opportunity to saddle up.

“@MickieJames hear me out… what if we saddled up, you taught me to be hardcore country and we went for the WWE Women’s Tag Titles. I’ll bring the drinks! ?,” Fallon Henley tweeted.

I’m her Huckleberry

Mickie James responded to Henley with a line inspired from the 1993 film Tombstone. She claimed that Ms. Hardcore Country is the right person for the job.

“I’m your Huckleberry,” Mickie James tweeted.

Recently, on the Gabby AF podcast, James opened up about her thoughts on Falon Henley. James mentioned that if she shows up, she’s coming only to win.

“She did say the drinks were on her. And I do love a drink as you’re aware. I’ve been watching Fallon for a while because obviously there’s been some comparisons there and there’s clearly similarities there. And I thought, ‘Oh, this is so cool.’ I didn’t obviously think it was an homage to me or anything like that. There’s clearly more Country girls in the world than just me. But I just thought it was so special and it was unique. And I thought it was cool that she asked me to do that. She said, ‘Go for the titles’. And I just need her to know, I only come to win. I don’t come to lose. So, I’m down. I’m her Huckleberry. But we’re going to win,” Mickie James said.
