Tonight on AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion explained how he and William Regal began working together.

MJF read an email that Regal sent to him after he was attacked by The Firm and that set things in motion for them to work together and for Regal to help him win the World Title.

MJF introduced his new Burberry title and then he referenced "fake tough guys" like Eddie Kingston, Ricky Starks, and Bryan Danielson who will never win the belt he holds. He also talked about the "bidding war of 2024" and there was a reference to Nick Khan and "The Game" Trips. He also hinted that maybe Hollywood will win the bidding war.

MJF also stated that he will wrestle and defend the belt rarely because he's a special attraction and fans will have to buy a pay-per-view to see him in action. MJF said Hulk Hogan, Jeff Jarrett, and JBL's title reign will look short and sweet compared to his, and Bruno Sammartino will roll in his "sh*tty little grave."

MJF closed out the segment by talking about how much Regal is respected because he loves the business. MJF then attacked Regal and left him laying in the ring. Danielson ran out to the ring to check on Regal after MJF left the area.
