MLW has announced the first match set to take place at their Azteca Lucha event.
It pits Mistico, who fans will remember as Sin Cara in WWE, against Barbaro Cavernario in a huge match. The bout will be for Mistico‘s MLW World Middleweight title. It will undoubtedly be one of the biggest fights of the night.
The event is taking place on May 11, at the Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois. It is the third event under the MLW Azteca brand, which itself pays tribute to the Lucha Underground TV show that ran from 2014-2018.
Místico vs. Bárbaro Cavernario is the first match announced for MLW Azteca Lucha, although many more matches featuring MLW talent are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
