Mustafa Ali continues to do things his way, and it’s been paying off so far in 2024.

The former WWE Superstar has been on a world tour of sorts this year, which has resulted in him working for countless companies and becoming the current reigning and defending TNA X-Division Champion.

Much like others in the past, Mustafa Ali was underutilized during his run with WWE. Ali has used 2024 to prove many of his doubters wrong regarding his overall star power in the industry.

The TNA Wrestling star took to social media this afternoon to post a very inspiring post telling others who are in his old position to stop wasting time and start chasing their dreams, tweeting out:

“A big weekend of wrestling will have a lot of wrestlers depressed over once again not being on a big stage or under a bright light.

I know the feeling all too well. And though I do believe that the top should be reserved for the best, I believe it should also be earned. I have seen supremely talented and dedicated performers simply never get a chance despite them earning it.

To them I say, stop saying ‘maybe next year.’ Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. Stop letting them control your happiness. Life is too short and the chase of the dream is too long. Stop wasting time waiting.

If this hit you in the chest, good. I wish I read this years ago. I am happier, make more money and am the busiest I’ve ever been simply because I am in control of my happiness. Be well,” Mustafa Ali said in a post.

Of course, some fans took this message the wrong way or didn’t properly read it. Ali took the time to respond to those people as well, stating:

“Sigh. A few have seemed to take this message as bitter or jaded. Not the case at all. I am just reminding peers in my industry that sometimes the answer they are looking for is outside the box. Because this time of year gets ’em. Again, not a sob or bitter story. Just me telling them you can control your happiness,” Mustafa Ali said in a post.

Ali is scheduled to compete in Philadelphia for TNA Wrestling during WrestleMania XL weekend.
