After turning heel, Chad Gable could be forming a new faction in WWE.

Gable's heel turn happened at the end of this Monday's WWE Raw episode. He snapped after unsuccessfully challenging Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental title in the main event.

Following their match, Gable attacked Zayn as he was celebrating with his wife. Raw went off the air with officials breaking things up as Gable had Zayn locked in an ankle lock.

Dave Meltzer writes in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that "the belief going around" is The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) will also be turning heel and forming a group with Gable. Julius Creed posted a tweet this week teasing the potential alliance.

Gable is the leader of Alpha Academy, which currently includes Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri.

Tozawa tweeted after Gable's heel turn: "I trust you. Because you’re my coach."

Zayn won the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 40, ending Gunther's historic reign with the championship. He earned the WrestleMania title shot in a gauntlet match last month. Gable is the last person Zayn eliminated in the gauntlet.

In storyline, Gable helped train Zayn for his match against Gunther at WrestleMania. Gable challenged Gunther multiple times last year and came close to beating him for the IC title.

The Creed Brothers took part in a triple threat number one contender's tag match on Raw this week. Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa won the match and will challenge The Miz & R-Truth for the World Tag Team titles on Raw this coming Monday.
