Billy Corgan Comments On NWA Hard Times

In the announcement, NWA shared a quote from company president William Patrick Corgan, also known as Billy Corgan.

“We are thrilled to bring the hard-hitting action of the NWA to the passionate fans in Dothan. It’s been a long time coming, and we are committed to delivering an unforgettable experience. The Dothan Civic Center has a rich history with wrestling, and we aim to add another chapter to that legacy.”

NWA first held the Hard Times pay-per-view in 2020. In the main event, Ricky Starks faced Trevor Murdoch in the finals of a tournament that crowned the NWA World Television Championship. Hard Times 2 featured a world title match where Murdoch defended the gold against Mike Knox.

In 2023, the event emanated from Chalmette, Louisiana. In the main event, Tyrus beat Murdoch and Matt Cardona to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Kamille defeated Chelsea Green and KiLynn King to retain the NWA World Women’s Championship. Plus, Kerry Morton beat Homicide to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.

NWA will hold their NWA Paranoia live event on January 13. There, EC3 is set to defend the world title against Matt Cardona in the Ultimate Match of Death.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
