NXT North American Champion Oba Femi is a fan of Triple H.

Speaking with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Oba Femi was asked to name his favorite wrestlers when he was younger.

“Brock Lesnar is one of the ones that comes to mind, of course,” he said. “I kind of model my wrestling style after him a little bit. But my favorite is Triple H, my boss.”

Femi was then asked to recall meeting Triple H, who is now WWE’s Chief Content Officer, and he made it clear that it meant a lot to him.

“I don’t know why, but in my head, I was like, ‘Oh, he wouldn’t really care too much about me. But he was surprisingly nice to me,” Oba Femi said. “He’s a great man, he’s a great boss, he’s doing very well with the main roster right now. It was kind of surreal meeting him because this is really the person I grew up watching standing in front of me, so jr was a very important moment in my life. “
