Hyperfocus Games announced OVW as the latest addition to their Ultra Pro Wrestling video game.
The company is adding Ohio Valley Wrestling into its game. UPW doesn’t have a release date announced, but is said to come out next year.
The addition of the promotion is huge for both OVW and the game itself. The company was recently featured in the Netflix documentary “Wrestlers”, and this will give their product even more reach.
OVW is run by former WWE Superstar Al Snow. He has helped bring some star power to the promotion, which has helped them increase their reach.
A press release revealed that the OVW DLC pack is expected to be released in 2025. It will feature a number of additions for fans to enjoy, including:
- Current OVW Stars in the game: The company haven’t confirmed which wrestlers will be included yet.
- Legendary OVW Championship Belts: Compete for beautifully recreated versions of OVW’s historic titles, each with its storied legacy.
- Authentic Branding: Dive into an immersive OVW experience with genuine logos and branding elements. It will bring the spirit of the promotion to life in-game.
- The iconic Davis Arena: Experience the electrifying atmosphere of the Davis Arena. meticulously crafted to replicate the venue’s famed wrestling ambiance.
- Exclusive music: Relive the intensity of OVW matches with original music scores that have defined the promotion’s exhilarating events.
The Agreement Is A Milestone For Both Companies
Sam Vallely, Director at Hyperfocus Games, said in a press release that the move for “a milestone in wrestling gaming”. He announced the game will release in 2025.

From inception, OVW have helped create superstars and Hall of Famers. Now, we can proudly say, they’ll play a part in helping us bring a legendary videogame series back to the ring in 2025.”
