  • Josh Alexander is a former TNA Champion with an impressive career.
  • Page advances to face Kyle Fletcher in the semifinals.

The 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament started with the first quarterfinal match taking place at AEW Dynasty as Kevin Knight and Will Ospreay went face-to-face. On the other side of the bracket, it would be confirmed that "Hangman" Adam Page would be facing the wildcard tonight on AEW Spring BreakThru.

Fans had many speculations about who the wildcard just might have been, with a lot believing it could be a returning Jack Perry due to the recent return of The Young Bucks. Well, Dynamite revealed to fans just who it was, so who could it have been?

Josh Alexander Is The Wildcard

Fans of TNA will be familiar with Josh Alexander as he is a multiple-time TNA World Champion, Tag Team Champion, and a one-time X Division Champion. His second reign with the TNA World Championship saw him set the record for longest reign, at 335 days.

It was confirmed earlier this year that he was departing from TNA, ending his six-year tenure there, and rumors started to swirl about him potentially signing with either AEW or WWE.

Owen Hart Cup

After tonight's match between "Hangman" Adam Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, it was confirmed that Page will be facing Kyle Fletcher, while Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay will face off in the semifinals.

The finals of the tournament are set for Double or Nothing on May 25th, 2025, in Glendale, Arizona, with the winner getting a guaranteed AEW World Championship match at All In Texas on July 12th.
