A noteworthy name has joined the IMPACT Wrestling creative team.

On June 14, Fightful Select reported that Jimmy Jacobs joined AEW’s creative team. Jacobs had been working with IMPACT since 2017, and he was the a key part of the creative team.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Jacobs departure from IMPACT had been known for some time, and he finished up the weekend of the Against All Odds pay-per-view after he previously gave notice weeks ago.

Johnson also wrote that Hunter Johnson, also known as Delirious, has been hired as a writer and producer. The former Ring of Honor booker officially joined the team a few weeks back, and his addition was announced to IMPACT talent and staff alongside the news of Jacobs’ exit. Jacobs had been the head of creative, and now his responsibilities will be split among multiple members of the team.

Delirious had been the head booker for ROH for several years before the company went in hiatus after ROH Final Battle 2021.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed that Delirious is working on the IMPACT creative team.
