Impact Wrestling will be sticking with the commentary team of Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt moving forward.

According to a report from PWInsider, D'Lo Brown won't be returning to his position on the Impact Wrestling commentary team. Brown will continue working for the company behind the scenes.

PWinsider noted that, with Impact now back on the road, having Brown work as a color commentator was taking away from his other responsibilities. Also, Impact has reportedly been "blown away" by the team of Hannifan (formerly known as Tom Phillips in WWE) and Rehwoldt (formerly known as Aiden English).

Brown had been working as a color commentator for Impact since January 2021.

On an episode of Impact this January, Brown was put through a table by members of Honor No More. Rehwoldt then began appearing alongside Hannifan, with several members of the Impact roster also working on color commentary from time to time.

Hannifan started with Impact at January's Hard to Kill pay-per-view. He had previously been with WWE from 2012 to 2021.
