Mike Santana has been removed from AEW’s roster page, and a new report confirms his departure.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Santana is gone from AEW. As of this writing, further details are unclear.

Santana, along with his tag team partner Ortiz, signed with AEW in 2019, and they joined Chris Jericho in The Inner Circle. During this time, he had a prominent run on AEW programming. However, Santana went down with a torn ACL during the Blood & Guts match on the June 29, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite.

The injury sidelined him until the following August. Santana then had a brief run with the company, and he feuded with Ortiz. In his last match on AEW programming, Santana beat Ortiz on the October 27 episode of AEW Rampage. He has continued to wrestle on a fairly regular basis on the independent scene.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
