Powerhouse Hobbs was reportedly injured during his AEW Dynamite match against Jon Moxley.

Late into his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match on AEW Dynamite, Hobbs appeared to have injured his knee. At this point, Hobbs got back into the ring, and Moxley quickly finished the match with a submission.

In an update from Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, the knee injury to Powerhouse Hobbs was legitimate. However, the extent of the injury is unknown at this time.

One thing from Alvarez’s statement that doesn’t make a ton of sense is he noted there was supposed to be an overrun for Dynamite on Wednesday night. But with the NHL Playoffs scheduled to kick off at 10 PM ET, that doesn’t seem likely.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information regarding Powerhouse Hobbs’ knee injury as it becomes available.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Hobbs a speedy recovery.
