IMPACT Wrestling continues to strengthen its brand in every aspect throughout 2022 and looks to continue to grow throughout the rest of the year.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, IMPACT Wrestling scored a new referee and backstage producer over the weekend at their latest set of television tapings in former WWE official Scott Armstrong.

Armstrong has been in the business for decades now and worked for the WWE for the last 15 years. He was a senior referee at one point, and he refereed many memorable matches, including two WrestleMania main events and the bout between John Cena and CM Punk at Money in the Bank 2011. Armstrong also worked as a producer for the company before he was released on January 5, 2022.

In terms of in-ring talent, fans haven’t seen Mickie James on IMPACT Wrestling since she lost to Chelsea Green last month. But Johnson reports that Mickie James will return on the September 1 episode of IMPACT on AXS TV.

IMPACT filmed the new few weeks of television over the weekend in Illinois. You can check out those spoilers by clicking here.
