Sonya Deville has been absent for months, but she is reportedly set to be back soon.

Sonya Deville has not wrestled since the July 28, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown. There, she and Chelsea Green lost to Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair. During the match, she suffered a torn ACL. Deville and Green were the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time. Due to the injury, Green started teaming up with Piper Niven. Deville has been sidelined ever since.

In an update, Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Sonya Deville was expected to be back soon. He noted that she had been training for her return.

During her absence, Deville got married, and she also landed a movie role.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
