Rey Mysterio provides an update about his mindset on his future.

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, 49, previously noted that he did not want to keep wrestling after he returned 50, and the milestone birthday will be this December. He had knee surgery in November, and he returned in March. Mysterio competed at WWE WrestleMania 40, where he and Andrade beat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar.

Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Rey Mysterio noted that he has been listening to his body, and his motivation is still on point,

“So I think – I knew I had a number in mind. and I said I didn’t want to go past that,” Rey Mysterio said. “But I’m truly listening to how my body has been reacting. And my body has been reacting great, and my motivation is still on point. I want to make sure that everything, coordination-wise, is still on point in order for me to continue. As of yet, you know, I’m good.”

Mysterio also noted that he feels great and motivated to be competing again. He also stated that rehab was easier with this surgery than it had been with others.
